Cookie Policy

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in, preferences and first-party usage analytics according to your region and privacy choices.

Necessary browser storage

Authentication, theme preferences and creator workspace state use browser storage to support the features you request. Authentication storage can contain session credentials; it is separate from analytics storage.

fabriqa-privacy-choice stores your analytics choice, policy version and expiry in local storage for six months. It is used to respect your choice, not as a visitor identifier. Some other feature-specific browser state remains until you sign out, clear it or remove the relevant browser storage.

The signed fabriqa_privacy cookie remembers a refusal for up to six months without a visitor identifier. It helps us honor that preference on the server even if your network location changes.

Optional analytics cookie

When analytics is permitted, fabriqa_analytics stores a random first-party reference for six months. It is an HttpOnly cookie, which prevents page scripts from reading it, and uses Secure on HTTPS and SameSite=Strict. Visitor and session records are held on our server, not inside the cookie.

In the United States, our regional setting may allow first-party analytics without a consent panel. A saved refusal or GPC signal keeps it off. In the EU, EEA, United Kingdom, other regions not covered by that setting, and when the region is unknown, we ask before enabling optional analytics.

The cookie helps recognize return visits in the same browser. It does not identify an unregistered person across different devices. Clearing it or using another browser may create a new visitor record when analytics is permitted.

Analytics covers visits, sources and campaign tags, approximate IP-based geography, device context and service performance. It does not read passwords or form contents. See the Privacy Policy for purposes and retention.

Changing your choice

Necessary only disables optional analytics. Privacy settings lets you change your choice at any time. Continuing to use the site is not consent. A Global Privacy Control signal disables optional analytics in this implementation.

Withdrawing permission stops future optional event collection and removes the analytics cookie. Preferences are synchronized between open tabs. Clearing all browser storage also clears your saved choice; it does not grant consent.

If browser storage is unavailable or a preference cannot be verified, optional analytics remains off. Our essential features remain available.

External services

Google sign-in, YouTube embeds and other external features may use their own browser storage or receive network information. Fabriqa's analytics choices control our first-party analytics, not every external service. Consult the relevant provider's privacy information when using those features.
